Every piece I've ordered has been crafted with care - the stitching is consistently overlocked. The use of lovely velvet is a nice touch. Having dabbled in making my own garments, I can tell she’s not raking in the dough from her creations. In a time when mass-produced fashion is the norm, finding affordable alternative clothing can be tough, but Moonmaiden's prices are always a steal. She offers both standard sizes and custom options, so if you're like me and fall between sizes, you can be sure it’ll fit just right. This is my fourth time ordering, and I’ve never faced any hassle.

Over the years, I've spent quite a bit on clothes from Moonmaiden, and I've encountered some strange sizing problems, color mismatches, holes in garments, and shoddy stitching, but I handled it all with a level head. Since I can sew a bit, I just fixed what needed fixing. However, there was one order that came in that was just a disaster—no way to salvage it. After some frustrating back-and-forth with the owners, I reluctantly had to file a Paypal claim to recover my losses.

Now, Moonmaiden won’t even communicate with me or sell to me or folks living nearby. It’s just odd that they won’t own up to their errors and seem to take it personally. So, watch out if you decide to shop with them.

I had high hopes for my order since the process was smooth and I was all set to adore my items, but sadly, I'm feeling let down. The quality just isn't what I thought it would be. One of my tops arrived with a little tear in the lace, and honestly, the smell makes me think the fabric might've been stashed away for too long. Plus, they used black thread on different colored fabric, which really highlights how wavy and uneven the stitching looks. I really don’t want to write a negative review, especially since all the other feedback I've read is so positive, but I feel compelled to share my experience. The design is fantastic, customer service is top-notch, and the price is fair, but the quality just doesn't cut it for me.

Moonmaiden crafted a custom skirt for me inspired by a photo of a design and color I couldn’t track down anywhere. The shade (steamed claret velvet) is simply gorgeous, I’m in love! The stitching quality is top-notch, and I can tell the items I bought will last me quite a while. I got myself a black steam split skirt from Moonmaiden during the Yule season of 2019. Because of that timing, it took a bit for my order to get processed, but it was made and shipped out to me pretty quickly afterward. The quality is top-notch, it fits me just right, and I’m currently zipping around the house like a sultry, dark gothic fairy, complete with a matching pajama top. I’m definitely gonna be putting my wallet through some serious strain shopping at Moonmaiden again, since their quality, customer service, and speed all meet my expectations!
